Andrew John Bennett
“Once we know and are aware, we are responsible for our action and our inaction. We can do something about it or ignore it. Either way, we are still responsible.” – Jean Paul Sartre
Andrew has an inherent desire to connect the dots…. to understand the relationships between things… and to share his insights with others. He thinks that whoever we are and whatever we do (at work or play), we have an opportunity to be simultaneously making the world a better place for ourselves and everyone else.

At the end of 2004 he was Marketing Director for a UK PLC, a nice position, prospects and salary but it wasn’t enough. He then became aware of the serious social and environmental issues occurring in the world and felt he had to try and do something about them. Andy likes to fix things and this set him on a very interesting journey…

This included running teams of volunteers working in Sri Lanka after the Tsunami, organising NGO’s to put on a children’s festivals in war torn areas, giving talks and lectures and encouraging participation through the creation of short films promoting volunteering on social & environmental community projects… more
