March is National Water Month, with National Water Week this falling week and World Water Day on 22 March 2012. In honour of this, and to raise awareness around water issues and the challenge posed to organisations to promote water wise behaviour within their organisations, icologie will be hosting a lunch time talk on the subject. We are inviting all friends and colleagues to share ideas, challenges and providing the platform to highlight organisation’s positive contributions toward efforts to conserve and protect the country`s water resources.

For this lunch hour session we will be diversifying our approach and have already invited various people to present/share their stories/experiences/challenges/successes in short 5 minute presentations/talks. The following organisations will participate in the programme: City of Cape Town: Johannes Prins, FLOW Campaign: Juliet Browne from Greenhouse, ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability: Tarryn Quayle, Grand West Casino: Rhulani Hlungwane, Alive2green: Lloyd Macfarlane, Department Water Affairs: Simphiwe Mashicila.

All participants are welcome to bring any marketing material that you have used in your campaigns.
