Lunch Hour Talk – Carbon Footprinting

On 29 August 2011, in Events, Lunch hour talk, News, by Andrew Bennett

For our next lunch hour talk we have teamed up with Carbon Calculated to have a focus on eco auditing and sustainability reporting.  Where do you start if you want to do an eco audit of your business?  Why do we need sustainability reporting?  What is GRI and the other three letter acronyms?  This forms part of a series of talks on sustainability arranged by icologie specifically for business.

Slaying the carbon dragon – Understanding Carbon Footprinting

Nici Palmer from Carbon Calculated

Carbon Calculated will ‘clear the air’, providing an overview of how a carbon footprint is calculated as well explaining the purpose and value of a carbon footprint from a business perspective.

The ABC of an Eco Audit and Sustainability Reporting

Grace Stead from icologie

So, how do you take this back to the office? Where do you start if you want to do an eco audit at your company?  Can this also be done at home or school? What if we are just a small company?  Is it still worth doing an eco audit?

Come and join us as we discuss this topic and understand what is needed.  We hope you will find this a great opportunity to learn more about sustainability, network, share and enjoy a light meal.
