Smart eating outing

As the culmination to the City of Cape Town “Smart Eating” project, learners and staff from St Cyprians, Ned Doman And Houy Bay High visited the Harvest of Hope food garden project to see how the local people there are collaborating to grow and sell fresh organic garden vegetables for themselves and the wider communities.

This “Smart Eating” project looked the environmental impact of the the different types of food found in the schools tuck shops.  The project is a pilot project to establish a toolkit that can be rolled out to other schools.
