Join us for an inspiring and informative lunchtime presentation by Cormac Cullinan, of Cullinan & Associates Inc and Andy Le May of icologie.  Cormac will be grappling with the concept of Sustainability and the responsibility of corporates, the concept of “Earth Jurisprudence” and with COP17 around the corner Andy will be giving a short demystification of COP17,  what it’s about, the outcomes and the implication it could have on corporates from a variety of perspectives including environmental governance.

Environmental Law
– Cormac makes a living as an environmental lawyer and governance consultant and a director and founder of EnAct International and of the specialist environmental law firm Cullinan and Associates Inc . He writes and teaches and is the author of Wild Law, a book which proposes that in order to prevent and reverse the environmental and social damage caused by industrial civilisations we must urgently develop ways of governing human behaviour that are consistent with the fundamental principles of our Universe (“Earth jurisprudence”).

Cormac was listed among the world’s most extraordinary environmental champions in Planet Savers: 301 Extraordinary Environmentalists, which lists 301 people in history to be commended for their important role in saving and conserving the environment and promoting sustainable governance, including the likes of Buddha, St Francis of Assisi and Henry Thoreau.

COP17 – What you need to know?  UNFCCC, FCCC, Protocols, Annexes, COP’s, MOP’s confusing jargon isn’t it.  In this presentation Andy is going to try and DE-mystify COP 17  and explain why it is important for us,  what it will and won’t achieve and how it affects us.
